Планируются изменения в классах!
From J.E. Sawyer’s unofficial message board for Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter.

Class changes in Heart of Winter: Here are the significant class changes in the expansion:
Bards:
* Four new bard songs with different effects. One grants bonuses to save and thief skills, one grants immunity to fear, one is a counter song that negates sonic attacks, and the last grants bonuses to Armor Class and slow regeneration.
Thieves:
* Master Skill: At certain levels, thieves are able to execute other thief skills while in stealth mode.
* Evasion: At a certain level, thieves gain the awesome ability to negate Area of Effect damage if they successfully make their saving throw.
* Sneak Attack: You can set a flag in icewind.ini that switches Backstab to Sneak Attack. Thieves do an additional 1d6 points of damage for every... hmm, four levels, I believe. They also need not be hidden to Sneak Attack; they simply need to get behind or on the side of a target. They can only SA any given target once in an extended period of time.
* Crippling Strike: When thieves Sneak Attack, they also inflict a -1 to hit and damage on the target for every 5 levels they have.
Druids:
* Druids have a new experience table that allows them to advance beyond 14th level.
* Druids now gain their shape changing abilities sequentially. In addition to the normal forms they have, they also, at higher levels, gain the ability to transform into Earth, Water, and Fire Elementals.
* At 9th level, Druids become immune to Poison.
* At (I think) 13th level, Druids become immune to Fatigue.
Rangers:
* Rangers can track
* Rangers have a new spell progression table, which starts earlier.
Paladins:
* At (I think) 3rd level, Paladins gain the ability to use Smite Evil 1/Day. If I remember correctly, it allows them to call down a pillar of holy light on an enemy, doing 1d6 points of damage per level.
* Paladins have a new spell progression table, which starts earlier.
* Paladins are now completely immune to all disease.
Fighters, Mages, and Clerics:
* They still kill everything pretty well.
I think those are all of the changes.
