Hi Stefano, let's get get started with this interview a little bit different from others.....

1) Are you ready?

It's hot.

2) For how many hours are do you spend programming in a day?

Well, 6-7 hours on "targeted" work, and 2-3 hours on sperimental works with others projects, alternative engines, different languages.

3) Would you be able to use anybody's help for writing nerKar PRO code, perhaps you are like Geoff Crammond, from this point of view?

If I could have some months to give the opportunity to someone to "enter" into this project, the answer would be YES. In Quantel I was in a workgroup of 30 programmers, so I' m able to share work. Obviously, it requires lot of respect for the people you work with, in England I was honored to work with them, and this situation is very helpfull. If you have to work with someone that you consider an idiot, that's a little bit more complex.
It isn't impossible to see netKar PRO project followed by others programmers lead by me in the future, and I already have some ideas about the right names.

4) What do you love in GP4, what in GTR, what in Richard Burns Rally and what whit netKar PRO you'll be able to do better than them?

I love GP4's AI and its graphic engine, that makes bump mapping, shadows and reflections on tracks that my engine hadrly runs at 40fps. In RBR I like the matematical model of tires, very "alternative" and different to other sims.
I don't know very much GTR, but it is always F1ch with lot of reals data directly from teams, but there is nothing that makes me say "a miracle".
netKar PRO makes better coffee and in Spaghetti and Peas.... :-P

I think the tires/suspension package in nKpro is the best available at the moment.

5) What do you remember about the meeting with the author of this interview, Game Designer, betatester and Poster of netKar?

His labello(R) always in action. And his attitude to push on others' wives.

6) Are you interested in the release of netKar PRO, or you are waiting to sell your house like West Brothers?

No danger there, because the house where I live isn't mine. But I had to sell 90% of my electric guitars collection, if you are interested, to pay the rent in these months.

7) What kind of job you'd able to do, if you weren't a programmer?? And what job would you like to do?

I could be an old rich woman's husband, I feel I have a talent for that... I would like to be a pop songs author for a singer, find out a litte asian Britney Spears and manage her all over the world. I could teach guitar, when you find the right student that makes you proud, that's a fantastic feeling.
But realisticaly, I think to be able to do programming only.

9) Are you thinking to use the netKar PRO success to sell your music CD, too?

No, but if the netKar PRO fans will download for free my music, I' ll be glad in the same way I am when people download and play netKar 099

10) Are you thinking to sell your music CD to compensate the insuccess in sells of ntKar PRO?

I think that it is really poor as contingency plan.

11) Would you like to work with some others Sim racing guru, do you prefer work alone?

I'd be very glad, but I don't know how and if it could be possible to admin such strong characters.

12) What do you think of WCKC? (West, Casillo, Kaemmer, Crammond)??

Well, if we want to dream..... why not:

- Carmack for the graphic engine
- RBR guys for the phisics section
- C. West for the mod section programming
- Crammond for AI
- Casillo will do just nothing, relaxing on Thailand sun and beach and get all the money..

13) How can you program a Sim Racing Car, when you aren't able to make 2 decents laps with a 100cc 2 stroke kart in a real track?
I had mountains boots( do you remember?) and I'm over 100 Kg.
BTW, I trust physics.

14) Where are the "shameful pictures" stored? The ones where you lost a GP in the last corner?

They' re hidden in a place known only by me and scorpions in my house.

15) And the official plate of the netKar BirthDay??

After a long permanence on my desks in England and Japan, it's hidden in some box that I haven't yet open after my relocation in Italy

16) Are you thinking frequently about MR. Leida Pavements... since 1934 only wood pavements? Did you mention his name in answer # 7 already?

I think about him just during heavy desperation moments.

17) Do you ever hear from english colleague, the one who built for you a real mechanical differential to help you to understand its functioning?

Unfortunately, no..... but I should send him an e-mail to know how is he. He's an unreal character.. He had an incredible low chair sitting position, very aerodynamic; his head almost at same level as the keyboard. A Mith. My last night in UK, before my departure for Japan, I slept in his place, in his daughter's bed (hot girl,who unfortunalely was not present :( )... but the erotic istinct was present in me... Good memories...

18) Who is your best porn actress??
The unreachable Sora Aoi. Trust me. Beautiful, a non-asiatic body (:-P), and an incredible "voice" that works by itself.

19) Did you ever test your I.Q.? If yes, what's the result?

No, I always get bored in the middle of the process. But I beated several of japanese girls (too easy you say?) in a very popular book test called "Mensa"

20) Do you perfer a friend, a woman, a woman as friend, a friend as woman or a friend who share with you his woman?

2 womans is better.

Do you have understand the meaning of Life? Not yet.

22) What do you think about Stella Bruno?

I think she is a respectable professional and a woman of great thickness.

24) How frequently do you backup your important data?

Weekly. But I touch wood everytime someone asks about it to me..

No. I'm a beast.

Webcam sex: live sex

You enjoy yourself even it isn't true. Plus, it doesn't cost as much as the real thing, you are not forced to addictional work after the race, and if you fail a corner, you can restart from the begin.

27) Wich is your preferred racing movie?

"Days of thunder". I like very much the stories intelocking and characters in "Driven" too, shame for the action scenes.

28) How many times in a day are you going to the toilet for "the big need"?

Frequently, often just to "think and reset my brain".. so, "the big need" is not essential, the important thing is to "be there".

29) Do you ever think about Collision Detection while you are making Love? What about "reverse"?

Considering the frequency I "make love", fortunately I think about collision detection much more often.

30) What do you think netKar PRO can to give to Tuzzo? It's real that in setup window, there will be present a function "roll dice"?

But what will TUZZO give to me??

31) Ok, we are to the end, for for the time being.... Are you happy?

No, Multy as a million and a half of bugs, yet.

Кщьфт кто-то из них двоих или F1C или Netkar неправильно реализовали эффект сцепления с асфальтом.
В Ф1С все это очень открыто и правится очень просто. Например в моде RH2004 физика заметно отличается от оригинальной. Скорее, в лучшую сторону.

да ладно, на мой взгляд шикарное инравью. Показывает, что автор Неткара не алиен какой-нить, а разумный свой чувак. Который не городит неуместный пафос а прекрасно осознает всю преслесть (хе-хе) симрейсинга (вопрос 26). Еще из интервью видно что автор явно обделен социальной жизнью, что положительно скажется на качестве продукта. Ну а то что он в реале хреново ездит - это в сфере последних тенденций не главное. Авторы молотят физ. движок как можно ближе к реальности. А фидбек и поправки им дают пользователи их труда, гоняющие в реале. Что в ЛФС, что тут..

Радеон 9000, дрова 4.10 директ 9.0 помоему версии "с", на этой конфигурации все летает

Кщьфт Ch99-02 мною признан несостоявшимся. После того как я с помощью ВИПа достал наскар, рбр. я открыл, так сказать, мир за "т1". Считаю челендж мостиком от НФС в мир симов.
У меня НетКар не тормозил и на старой машине 750 Дюрон, Рива 32 метра, 256 озы.

Млин, тут на мыши верхом нельзя оказывается. Странно. Гоняют же в LFS на мыши и клаве - и нормально, а тут думают как - убрали поддержку этих устройств - и типа они сим стопудовый сделали. Странное решение, надеюсь, это исправят в будущих версиях.

Видимо у темы судьба такая, появляться каждые 5 страниц. Если у тебя дефолтные 25 постов на страницу, смотри страницу 5 и 1, там мышу уже посылали (с картинками).

Интересно, может я что-то упустил, но как я понял netKar pro уже находится в beta-тестировании, причём люди активно катают online. как я понял команда состоит из 10 человек. и кажется что среди них даже была знакомая фамилия.

интересно как обстоят с этим дела. и какие новости ещё.

Ну тогда оф.инфа - nkPro в состоянии пре-релиза. Скоро будет и на английском и с картинками. Возможно в релизе будут не только две формулы, но и ещё одно авто ("реплика"). nkDK будет не сразу.

this story started really as a laugh.. it will eventually grow up into a sort of "netKar Museum".. with explanantion in english and italian.
Currently I am getting the material together...

Regarding netKar PRO we're getting into the pre-release stage and news and screens are to be expected anytime soon.. of course, in english too.
