A sequel to the Egosoft’s award-winning X: Beyond the Frontier, XІ: The Threat transports players back into the dynamic X-Universe where gameplay is completely boundless and a new race is introduced- determined to disrupt the harmony within the galaxy.

Expanding on the original, X: Beyond the Frontier, XІ: The Threat allows players to construct a massive fleet of ships to aid them along whatever path they choose within the open-ended X-Universe.
