Извините что перебиваю, но у меня одна большая проблемма с GPL -- звук. Порой такие дикие глюки происходят, что ехать становится невозможно. Пробывал разные патчи, но непомогло. Кто-нибудь ещё с этим сталкивался?
Вопрос, кажется, тысячу раз задавался, в т.ч. и буквально только что...

1- SB Live cards and XP seem to be an unfixable problem, unless new drivers can cure it. Usually a new (different) card is needed.
2- Someone has reported that the latest SB drivers fixes this problem. See

3- Go to the Audio Properties and go to the 'Audio' tag, then click the advanced button which will open another window. Click the 'performance' tag. You should see a Hardware Acceleration slider. Bring it down a few notches until it says 'Basic Acceleration Only'.
4- see # 2, 3 and 4 just above. One of these should help, hopefully.
